Accounts on the DigiWire Platform are provisioned and assigned by authorized educational institution administrators or staff. We process information necessary to deliver educational learning services.

1.1 Profile Information

Information managed for provisioned student and staff accounts includes:

• Full name
• Email address and phone number
• Profile photograph (optional)
• Gender
• Parent / Guardian name and contact details (for student accounts)
• Account credentials and authentication tokens
• Enrolled courses, batches, and exam series
• Communication preferences (Email, SMS, WhatsApp notifications)

1.2 Academic & Learning Activity Data

During educational usage, the Application processes:

• Enrolled courses, batches, and live class participation
• Test attempts, mock examination scores, and answer submissions
• Submitted assignments and doubt queries (including image attachments)
• Progress tracking, lecture watch history, and course completion status
• Attendance records, rank analytics, and academic certificates
• Teacher and instructor feedback

1.3 Technical Telemetry & Diagnostics

To ensure system performance and security, technical diagnostic data is processed automatically:

• IP address and network connectivity status
• Device model, operating system version, and device identifiers
• Session timestamps and system interaction logs

1.4 Local Storage & Session Tokens

The Application utilizes secure local device storage (Flutter Secure Storage and Shared Preferences) to store encrypted JWT authentication tokens, UI preferences, and cached learning materials.

2. How We Use Information

We process information strictly for the following purposes:

• Authenticating users using credentials provisioned by administrators
• Delivering lectures, live classes, study materials, and examination modules
• Tracking academic progress, lecture completion, and generating performance reports
• Facilitating doubt resolution between students and instructors
• Sending operational alerts (schedule updates, exam reminders, performance reports)
• Diagnosing technical issues and optimizing platform performance
• Maintaining platform security and preventing unauthorized access
• Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements

3. Information Sharing

We share information only with authorized parties involved in operating the educational service:

• Educational Institutions & Instructors: Authorized teachers, tutors, and administrators responsible for course management and grading.
• Parents & Guardians: Academic progress, attendance records, and performance analytics may be shared with designated parents/guardians.
• Service Providers: Trusted cloud infrastructure hosts and communication API gateways operating under data confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: When required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulation.

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal or academic information to third parties.

4. Data Security & Retention

4.1 Data Security

We implement technical and organizational security safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for data transmission, secure token storage, and role-based access controls to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

4.2 Data Retention

Personal and academic data is retained for as long as necessary to maintain educational records, fulfill active enrollments, comply with audit requirements, and enforce platform agreements. When no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

5. User Rights & Account Deletion

Users have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal information.

5.1 Account Deletion Requests (Google Play Policy Compliance)

Since accounts are provisioned by institutions, users or parents/guardians may request full account deactivation and data deletion at any time:

• Contact your institution administrator directly, OR
• Email info@digi-wire.com with the subject line "Account & Data Deletion Request" along with your registered email address/username and institution name.

Upon verification, account details and personal records will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days, subject to mandatory legal or academic audit retention obligations.

6. Children's Privacy

Accounts for student users, including minors, are provisioned by authorized educational institutions or parents/guardians for academic learning purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect service updates or regulatory changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when revisions were made.
